Favorise is a new online service that allows you to create your
personal newspaper. This enhanced news aggregator
will offer you a whole new user experience.
Our main reasons for existing are to:

We are not only a regular news aggregator
or reader; we actually make your life simpler by providing you everything
most people search for, on one single page. Read
your favorite newspapers, news on your favorite topics, cool web pages
shared by our community and follow (spy on) your friends.
As one person is interested in many different topics like Hockey, BBQ Recipes, TV Shows, Stock Market and Electronics, instead of having to search through the web to find all you want, we bring it all to you in "My Favos" where you create your personal magazine. As you read, share and participate to Favorise, you will get points that will give you more access and features. Find out what neat advantages are awaiting for you.
My Favos is your personal customizable (future favorite) page. It's the place where you can add any box you like from our news section by clicking on the heart . You can add boxes on everything (and everyone) you want to follow. If you don't find a box on a specific subject you would like to follow, you can create one by using the box "Add to your favos" and typing your keyword.
My Favos is also the great place where you can add any amazing widget we offer. You can have a box with you weather forecast, your notepad, a slideshow of your personal pictures and more!
Tip:
You can play around, move your boxes and organize them the way you like.
Any changes you make will automatically be saved and your favos
will be waiting for your next visit!

The news tab displays the current hottest topics from different categories. It will give you an overview of what's happening around the world today. It displays the latest and most popular news shared by our users under the "Top Shared" box and the hottest feeds under the "Hot Feeds" box. You can select the topics you are interested in and add them to your favos by clicking on the
At Favorise, we like to keep it simple. So to add a widget you do the exact same thing as to add a topic to follow. You go to the box "Add to your favos" and you type in the name of the widget you would like to add. Then you can select the appropriate one from the dropdown menu. The icons will tell you if it's a widget or if it's a topic from a specific category. Once added, you'll find the widget in My Favos.

Our widgets are still in Beta. If you have a great idea of any widget you would like to have, we are taking suggestions! Send us your idea to suggestions@favorise.com.
You can easily track your own participation and your score on your profile page. You'll see how much points you have accumulated and how far you are from the next level and from even more amazing features!
Also, as you earn favo points during your visit, you will see your score updating next to your name on the top right corner of the page.
Tip:
There are some hided favo points that you can simply earn by
learning how to use the website.
Unlike other websites, we don't give points just for the heck of it! If you participate and accumulate points, you will get access to cool features and advantages and increase your visibility.

However if you post inappropriate or irrelevant content, you will lose points.
If you have a specific story, image or video you would like to share with our users, you can submit it at anytime by entering the URL in the header's "Submit your link" text box of any page. If your link is liked by our users, it has the possibility to rise up to the "Top Shared" box.
The waiting period between posts was introduced to eliminate spams. However, as you earn points and acquire notoriety, the waiting time will decrease based on the following:
The "Top Shared" box displays only links that were shared by our users. The most popular ones are displayed first. If you want your post to rise up to the front page it needs to be up voted by our users and your personal score needs to be at least 50pts. So don't be shy to share your link with your friends!
The "Hot Feeds" box displays the most popular stories on Favorise excluding users posts.
The Videos
tab displays only the best rated videos. Every video will feature
in the most recent section to get a chance to be seen.
However, we currently list your video in the most popular section
only if its score exceeds 10 pts.
Awesomeness is what we aim for.
Tags are meant to help you find your favorite topics easily. This is why we want them to be as accurate and related as possible. Choosing 5 relevant tags will help you get seen.
Your post can be automatically removed for the following reasons. If you feel that your post was unjustly removed contact us at: inquiry@favorise.com.
